Eastman Presser is a performance artist and musician currently based in Oberlin OH. Eastman received a BM from Oberlin Conservatory’s Technology in Music and Related Arts (TIMARA) program in the spring of 2014. His practice takes interaction between sound and the body as a starting point for creating situations that humorously problematize ideas of gender, genre, and mediation. This practice synthesizes years of training in percussion, electro-acoustic music, media theory, and performance theory. He has performed internationally in the US, UK, and Germany. He loves craft cocktails, bowling, and dogs.
